Linh Ung Pagoda in Marble Mountains Linh Ung Pagoda in Da Nang is an ancient temple with nearly 200 years of history, situated atop Thuy Son Mountain amidst the splendid natural landscape of the Marble Mountains.
Exploring the main hall of Linh Ung Pagoda, you will encounter a meticulously crafted array of statues, including the Three Buddhas, Van Thu Bodhisattva, Pho Hien Bodhisattva, Quan The Am Bodhisattva, Shakyamuni Buddha, Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva, and Quan Am Thien Tu, all reflecting exquisite artistry. The pagoda also features statues of the Protector Deities and Eighteen Arhats.
Hoa Son – Two mountains with intriguing caves Hoa Son comprises two twin mountains, Am Hoa Son (East Mountain) and Duong Hoa Son (West Mountain). Am Hoa Son is located to the east and is an appealing destination for those interested in geology and art. Its slopes are adorned with unique rock formations, and its crevices are home to distinctive vegetation. Notably, there is a connecting cave from the southern slope to the northern slope.
Duong Hoa Son lies to the west and is home to the ancient Linh Son Pagoda, with the Huyen Vy Cave situated behind the pagoda. Additionally, the area features the Pho Da Son Cave, inside which is the Pho Da Son Pagoda, known for its historical significance related to Emperor Minh Mang’s younger sister.
Tho Son – Boasting an underground tunnel and four pagodas Tho Son is remarkable for its towering vertical cliffs. This area has sparse vegetation and is located in the northern part of the Marble Mountains. On the eastern side of Tho Son, there is a deep cave, approximately 20 meters long, although the entrance is quite narrow. There is also the Bo De Cave, known locally as the “Da Chong Mountain Tunnel,” which holds historical significance as a hiding and operating place for revolutionary soldiers of the past.
Am Phu Cave – Eerie and mysterious Am Phu Cave, or Hell Cave, is a famous cave often visited by tourists exploring the Marble Mountains. Before the cave, there is a bridge called “Yin and Yang Bridge,” and inside the cave, there are two paths: Heaven and Hell.
